Kanye West is facing a lawsuit for assault and battery after an incident in 2022 that allegedly left a man disfigured.
Justin Poplawski claims West punched him multiple times when he asked for an autograph outside a hotel on January 13, 2022.
The alleged victim states that West threatened and then physically assaulted him, causing severe injuries, after Poplawski requested an apology for the initial punch.
The alleged victim is now seeking an unspecified amount in damages to cover medical bills for his alleged disfigurement, lost earnings, and mental pain and suffering.
His wife is also suing Kanye West for a loss of consortium, saying she lost her husband’s companionship as a result of the incident.
