The PRO made it known that the government has made provisions for 100 ultra-modern buses and 50 taxis to convey passengers on the roads from which the tricycle operators were banned.

The statement reads in part, “ Adaidaita Sahu drivers(tricycle operators) are prohibited from following Ahmadu Bello Way by Mundubawa road to Gazawa and Tal’udu road to Gwarzo.”

The PRO also revealed that the government would place a ban on other major roads in the state once it provides more ultra-modern buses and taxis.

This ban was placed as a means to reduce the traffic connections caused by tricycle operators in the state.
