E-money has demonstrated a common phrase that says, “There is freedom of expression, but freedom after expression may not be guaranteed.”
It is quite alarming that these days, individuals go to any length just to have massive views and engagement on their content, including defaming others by spreading false information about them.
Junior Pope was a Nigerian actor who passed away while on a movie set.
However, rather than allow his loved ones to mourn him in peace, some traffic-hungry individuals decided to use his demise as clickbait.
In a viral video, one of the bloggers accused Nigerian businessman Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-money, of having an affair with the wife of the late Junior Pope and killing him.
Reacting to this, an enraged E-money took to his Instagram page, appealing to his followers to help him track down his defamers.
Following this, the businessman announced the arrest of one of the Facebook trolls who made wild allegations against him and the late Jnr. Pope’s wife.
“ I’m relieved to share that one of the individuals responsible for the character assassination against me has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force and will face prosecution.
“This is a significant step towards ending the scourge of cyberbullying.
