When it comes to Nigeria, one does not know what to expect or not.
Indeed, many persons had predicted that reports of violence, vote-buying, and ballot snatching would fill the air, however, they never expected an officer of the law to be the perpetrator of such an act.
It came as a huge surprise to Nigerians when a viral video showing the moment a police officer was rough handled by youths in Imo State after reportedly snatching election materials at a polling unit emerged.
The officer, alongside others, was attached to a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeduru Local Government Area.

Reports claimed that they were instructed by the politician to snatch ballots at Amakohia Ikeduru Collation Center, where APC lost.
However, the community youths caught one while others took to their heels.
Police has spoken up on the involvement of an officer in ballot snatching.
