Yoruba Actress and social media personality, Ramota Adetu, widely known as Aunty Ramota, recently shared an emotional message on social media.
She claimed that her management team had financially exploited her severely.
In a video that quickly went viral, Aunty Ramota revealed that she is currently struggling with homelessness after being asked to leave her previous accommodation and suffering setbacks in securing her own home.
She also accused her management of not only taking her hard-earned money but also deleting her social media accounts.
This also further complicates her financial challenges.
Aunty Ramota explained: “I’m currently homeless. The lady I was staying with got married last month and asked me to leave because her husband wasn’t comfortable with me living there”
“The man who was building my house stopped work due to personal issues, so now, I’m left with nowhere to go” .
Also, Aunty Ramota disclosed that her management withheld funds she had earned from her work.
This leaves her unable to rent a new place.
“Despite my hard work, my management kept cheating me,” she shared. “They took all the money I worked for and even deleted my social media accounts. Now, I don’t have enough to find somewhere else to stay.”
Fans and fellow entertainers have since flooded social media.
