American singer Lady Gaga recently opened up about her feelings of solitude and the impact of fame on her personal life.
She revealed that she once feared she would be alone “forever.”
At 38 years old, Lady Gaga, who has just announced her engagement to Michael Polansky shared her relief at no longer being single.
In an interview with Vogue, Lady Gaga expressed her initial concerns about navigating her high-profile life without a partner.
“I used to think that I would have to go through this life all by myself, and that thought was really frightening,” she confessed.
“It’s a big life, and unless you’re living it, it’s hard to understand what it feels like. But now, I don’t have to face it alone anymore.”
Describing her fiancé, Lady Gaga praised him as a “totally supportive, loving human being” who was interested in knowing her as a person, rather than just as a celebrity.
She noted: “I had been so dedicated to my career from a young age, and the beautiful part of this time is that I can fully focus on my relationship.
Michael is someone who genuinely wants to know me for who I am outside of my public persona.”
