Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declares Governor Hope Uzodinma of All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of 11 November, 2023 governorship election for Imo state.
After the Imo State Election, Governor Hope Uzodinma emphasised the importance of winning all 27 local government elections.
He claimed that the achievement was unusual in the state’s history.
Also, he demonstrated his unwavering faith in his leadership.
Governor Hope Uzodinma thanked a number of organisations in a video that Arise TV released for their assistance during the Imo State election.
He expresses gratitude to federal servants for their support and affection while acknowledging their dedication.
In addition, Uzodinma expressed gratitude to the Council of Elders and traditional leaders for their support in upholding Imo State’s interests.

“Not only that they endorsed me before the election, but they also kept to the commitment by coming out in mass to vote.
“Civil servants in Imo State, you have shown me love; I’ll also show you love.
“I want to also acknowledge the support of the traditional rulers in Imo State, the Council of Elders, for rising up to the occasion to defend the interests of Imo State.
“I’ll therefore use the Chairman of Imo Council as a point of contact to thank our elders in Imo State for a job well done.
“I’ll not forget the 27 local governments in Imo State.
“All the leaders and the citizens in Imo State for coming out in mass.
“Never in the history of this state since its creation has any governor won election in 27 local governments. For me, it’s a mark of absolute confidence.” Uzodinma stated.
