Have you ever seen a country with two presidents?, if your answer is no, then you need to pay a visit to the giant of Africa, Nigeria.
If you reside in Nigeria and you haven’t noticed this wonder, then perhaps you just haven’t been paying attention.
Fasten your seatbelt, it’s going to be a long ride.
You see, the February 2023, elections elevated Bola Tinubu, from a mere Nigerian to the status of the number one citizen of the most populous black nation.
The Defeat
Tinubu was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), a declaration that almost tore the country apart.
Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
However, the outcome of that election has greatly been contested, even as we speak.
Many Nigerians, particularly supporters of Peter Obi, strongly believe that the election was rigged.
Significantly, Obi has amassed for himself followers like no other candidate.
Peter Obi Goes To Court
The ace politician was able to captivate the youths into matters of politics forging him into a major contender for the presidency.
Obi and Atiku had protested the election results fiercely in court.
However, the court upheld Tinubu as the president despite the loads of evidence presented by Obi to prove that his mandate was stolen.

Prior to this time, Obi’s crowd of supporters had started plans to hit the streets and reclaim his stolen mandate.
It was Obi who calmed the tension, leaving all hopes on the judiciary.
Mr President
Despite the court’s ruling upholding Tinubu as president, Peter Obi has not stopped telling anyone who cares to listen that he won the 2023 election.
To spice things up, his supporters regard him as president.
In fact, many have refused to acknowledge Tinubu as president.
One of such people is popular activist Aisha Yesufu.
Tweets addressing Obi as Mr President, or My President litters the net.
Indeed, Tinubu may be the man in Aso Rock, however, supporters of Peter Obi are convinced that the former Anambra governor is the only president they know.
