A birthday celebrant (yet-to-be-identified) and his friends have set a bar and hotel ablaze in Edo State while spraying inflammable substances.

The fire reportedly started when the birthday celebrant and his friends toyed with a fire beside a hotel in Sapele.
The overexcited celebrant alongside his group reportedly set fire to an inflammable spray that caught the building and spread fast.
According to an eyewitness, no life was lost at the scene of the incident except for the loss of the hotel’s property and its bar.
Onlookers stared helplessly as the fire consumed the hotel to the ground.
