Harry Kane is on track to return to action for Bayern Munich next week after recovering from a muscle injury, coach Vincent Kompany confirmed on Friday, December 13, 2024.
The England captain has been sidelined since injuring his right thigh during Bayern’s 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund on November 30.
Kane was forced off in that match and has missed the subsequent three games.
Kompany stated that while Kane won’t be available for Bayern’s Bundesliga match against Mainz on Saturday, he could be fit for next week’s clash against Leipzig on December 20.
“It’s actually gone really quickly and well for Harry,” Kompany said. “It was tight for this game, but it looks good for Leipzig. There’s been no setback, and it looks positive.”
Kane has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 20 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions for Bayern.
