Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has issued a heartfelt public apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, for defaming his character and spreading false claims about him.
In a letter addressed to the clergyman,Halima Abubakar admitted to making false allegations and expressed deep regret for the pain and distress her actions had caused him, his family, and his ministry.
The controversy between Abubakar and Apostle Suleman began in 2022, following a serious health crisis that left the actress bedridden.
At the time, Halima Abubakar’s family took to social media to accuse the clergyman of being connected to her illness.
Also, he calls him out and asking him to distance himself from her.
This sparked a public spat, with rumors circulating that Abubakar was suffering from an autoimmune disease.
In an attempt to clear her name, the actress denied these claims and even shared her medical reports to back her position.
Despite the intense drama that followed, Abubakar is now seeking reconciliation and has formally apologized for her actions.
In the letter sent to Apostle Suleman, she admitted to tarnishing his reputation and causing harm to him, his wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, and the Omega Fire Ministries.
Also, she acknowledged that her previous statements were false and borne out of poor judgment.
“I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my actions and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry,” the letter reads.
The actress concluded her letter with a deep expression of regret.

Also, she stated, “I’m truly sorry for all the hurt and distress I caused you, your family, and ministry.”
