Sophia Momodu has filed a counter affidavit through her legal team in response to Nigerian musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, regarding the custody of their daughter, Aurora Imade Adeleke.
In June 2024, Davido initiated legal action seeking joint custody and unrestricted access to his daughter, Imade.
In his lawsuit, he claimed that Momodu demanded he pay a monthly salary of $800 for a nanny she hired, totaling $19,600 annually, which he deemed excessive.
Davido also accused Momodu of cruelty and causing him significant emotional distress.
In a swift response, Momodu denied these allegations through a statement released by her lawyers.
She clarified that she never denied Davido access to their daughter but only to herself, leading him to cut off contact with Imade.
