Nigerian comedian and entertainer, Laff Albert, has successfully completed his ambitious attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.
The record-breaking feat took place at Banex Mall in Lekki, Lagos, where Albert officially began his 50-hour endurance challenge on February 14, 2025.
He triumphantly completed it on Sunday, February 16.
Taking to Instagram to share the emotional moment he reached the final minutes of his performance, Laff Albert explained that his motivation for the record attempt was to raise $1 million for Talent City.
His achievement is now awaiting official verification and confirmation from Guinness World Records.
If validated, Laff Albert will surpass the current record set by American comedian David Scott, who performed for 40 hours and 8 minutes on April 30, 2013.
Albert’s endurance test showcased not only his comedic talent but also his dedication, perseverance, and passion for making history in the entertainment industry.
