French football Federation renews €5.5m orange deal

French governing bodies target China market

The French Football Federation has extended its partnership with telecommunications giant, Orange for four additional years.

The original agreement, first signed in 2018, was reportedly worth €5.5 million annually. No figures have been made public regarding the extension, but Orange retains its designation as a major partner of the French men’s and women’s national teams until 2026.

In terms of branding, the Orange logo will remain on national team training kits, as well across the FFF’s physical and digital inventory.

In addition, working collaboratively with the FFF and the Play International non-governmental organisation (NGO), the extended partnership will see Orange continue to assist in providing digital education for young players, raising awareness of environmental and societal issues, as well as cyberbullying.
