Goalkeeper Dele Alampasu has returned from a 10-month injury layoff to continue his football journey with fifth-tier French football club Jura Dolois.

He last featured for the club on 26 August 2023, when he conceded two goals in a National 3 Game Week 1 defeat away to Besançon Football at Stade Léo Lagrange, Besançon.

The Future Stars Academy product announced his return to action from an undisclosed injury in a post on his Instagram page, which read, “We may encounter many defeats, but we must not be defeated. It’s a pleasure to be back on what gives me happiness. God over everything.”

Alampasu was a major protagonist in Nigeria’s triumphant 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign in the United Arab Emirates, winning the Golden Glove award as the best goalkeeper as the Golden Eaglets won their fourth title.

He made his sole appearance for the Super Eagles on 1 June 2017, as a 70th-minute substitute against Togo in a 3–0 victory.
