The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Olumide Akpata, has joined other citizens in Edo State to exercise his civic rights in the ongoing election in the state.
After casting his vote, Akpata took out time to address people at his polling unit in Oredo.
The former NBA president said he was confident of victory.
He further stated that he is impressed with the turnout, which he described as impressive.
The Labour Party governorship candidate said victory was certain in the election because, according to him, the Edo voters are hungry for change.
The People Are Hungry For Change
He said: “I am impressed with the turnout. The people are hungry for change. I am hoping that those who are superintending the process should allow the will of the people to prevail.”

Asked if he was confident of victory, he said, “We’ve got this one.”
Monday Okpebholo Cast His Vote
Similarly, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Monday Okpebholo, joined voters at PU003, Uwessan 1, Esan Central LGA in Edo to has cast his vote.
Okpebholo, after voting, said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is getting the Edo gubernatorial election right.
The senator who represents Edo central said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would not get a single vote at his polling unit because his people love him.
