Dr. Fola David, a Nigerian artist and doctor, broke the record for the largest artwork created by just one individual.
The 850 square meter artwork by Fola David has surpassed the previous Guinness World Record of 629.98 square meters.
Furthermore, the Previous record was held by Indian artist, Ravi Soni.
David’s ambition aims to extend his artwork to a staggering 1,000 square meters.
Also, the artwork is Titled “Unity in Diversity”.
The painting showcases Nigeria’s diverse ethnic groups through their distinctive attire, languages, culture, and artistic expressions.
In an Instagram video, Fola David shared his excitement: “Hi guys, I am so happy to say that we have broken the current record and all we have to do now is set a new one.”
Fola uses a unique kind of painting called speed painting.
His painting is frequently done live on stage with the canvas spinning or upside down.
This dynamic and captivating style has earned him a spot in the hearts of many and opportunities to create portraits for notable personalities.

Fola uses his art to address social issues, particularly the stereotypes surrounding skin disorders.
Also, his works feature skin imperfections like wrinkles, vitiligo, freckles, stretch marks, ichthyosis, and other conditions.
