On Monday, there was unrest in Abuja’s Jahi District following the explosion of a diesel-laden tanker near the Kingdom Heritage Model Academy, which is owned by the Living Faith Church.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 am on Monday, when the tanker loaded with diesel tipped over on its way to supply a gas station in the area and went up in flames,

It was gathered that the school management had sent a ‘distress message’ to the parents to pick up their children for safety purposes following the explosion.

Firefighters from the Federal Capital Territory FCT Fire Service were immediately mobilized to the scene to put out the inferno even as no life was lost in the incident.
