Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, father of renowned musician Davido, has made a monumental donation of ₦1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church
The donation was in honor of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke.
The donation was announced during a thanksgiving service held on August 18, 2024, in Lagos State
The church celebrated the life and legacy of Mrs. Adeleke, who was a respected ‘Senior Mother-in-Israel’.
Also, she was the founder of a C&S church in Ede, Osun State.
The thanksgiving service was graced by prominent figures, including the Governors of Ogun and Lagos States, Dapo Abiodun and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as well as Davido himself.
Dr. Adeleke’s generous contribution to the church’s centenary endowment fund was met with enthusiastic applause from the congregation.
The event was further highlighted by the appearance of Governor Ademola Adeleke, who displayed his signature dance.
His dance added to the celebratory atmosphere.
