Cristiano Ronaldo has been left out of Portugal’s squad for Thursday’s international friendly against Sweden.

Portugal’s coach, Roberto Martinez, had included Ronaldo in the preliminary 32-man squad which has now been pruned to 24.
The Al Nassr captain is one of eight players who have been dropped for this week’s game in Guimaraes.
These players will join the national team after Thursday’s game in preparation for the friendly against Slovenia on March 26, Portugal’s Football Federation announced.
