The National Industrial Court in Abuja has today, halted the proposed Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress strike scheduled to begin on Monday.
The court led by Justice Ibrahim Galadima issued an interim order restraining both groups from embarking on the action following an ex-parte application filed by a group, Peace and Unity Ambassadors Association through their counsel, Sanusi Musa.
The strike action remains suspended until a hearing is made to determine the outcome of the application.

All workers belonging to either of the unions have now been told to resume work in their offices without disruption on Monday.
The court warmed against any form of harassment, disruption, restraining, picketing or prevention of workers from carrying out normal duties.
