Cleaners Use Buckets To Collect Water As National Assembly Roof Leaks During Plenary

Cleaners Use Buckets To Collect Water As Nations Assembly Roof Leaks During PlenaryCleaners at the National Assembly complex were on Tuesday, frantically attempting to collect water that leaked into the chambers from the roof, with buckets.

Rain had fallen in Abuja earlier in the day, and a leaking roof and foyer brought water into the building as plenary was ongoing.

The cleaners who had first attempted to mop the water, proceeded to using buckets to collect the water, for a lack of alternatives.

Concerned senators gathered around the affected areas to inspect the damage and the continued leak.

There had been a N37 billion budget planned for the repair of the complex, but it was frowned at as at the time of its proposal.
