Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer have been nominated for the Professional Footballers’ Association men’s young player of the year award.
Saka, who won the award in 2022-23, is on the men’s six-player shortlist after an impressive season in the Premier League.
The England international scored 16 goals and provided nine assists from the wing, showcasing his exceptional skills.
Chelsea’s Lauren James and Manchester City’s Khiara Keating are contenders for the women’s young player of the year award.
James is looking to win the award for the second year in a row, having helped her team win the Women’s Super League by scoring 13 goals in 16 games.
The winners of the prestigious awards will be announced on Tuesday, 20 August, 2024.
