Nigerian music sensation Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has officially surpassed fellow Nigerian artist Tems to become the artist with the most charting songs in US Billboard Hot 100 history.
This achievement comes with Burna Boy’s latest collaboration, “We Pray” by Coldplay.
The song features him alongside Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel.
Also, it debuted at No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.
This new entry pushes Burna Boy’s total chart appearances on the Hot 100 to six.
It breaks the tie he previously held with Tems, who currently has five entries.
Also, Burna Boy’s consistent presence on the prestigious chart further cements his status as a leading figure in global music.
Other Nigerian artists also making waves on the Hot 100 include Wizkid, who holds four chart entries and was the first Nigerian artist to ever debut on the chart.
