A journey that President Muhammadu Buhari started eight years ago is near its end and he has come out with a message to Nigerians.
The current President of Nigeria, on Friday, thanked Nigerians for tolerating him in the past eight years he has been on the saddle.
Speaking when residents of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, paid him Sallah homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Muhammadu Buhari told those he may have hurt in the course of doing his constitutional duties to forgive him.
He added that he was counting his days and couldn’t wait to retire to his Daura home town, Katsina State.
According to him, his home town is just eight kilometres to the Niger Republic.
This will be less than 10 minutes if you are driving at 60 kilometer per hour.
The outgoing President admitted the fact that, he got all he asked of God and would quietly retire home.
On May 29, his tenure will elapse as another president will resume office in Nigeria.

Although his victory is being contested at the Tribunal.
Nigerians are looking forward to the decision of the Tribunal which should come before May 29.
