President Muhammadu Buhari is set to commission a 24-unit newly built teachers’ quarters in Maiduguri by Governor Babagana Zulum’s administration
The President, arrived in Maiduguri early on Thursday, to commission the teacher’s quarters, located in Bulumkutu, along the airport road, the project is one of the over 600 capital projects delivered by the governor of Maiduguri.

The fully fenced, interlocked, and landscaped teachers’ quarters comprise 24 units of furnished two-bedroom flats in six blocks of story-buildings.
The quarters aside dozens of houses built by the Zulum administration at premises of secondary schools across the state to increase teachers’ access to housing.

The houses are part of 10,000 resettlement houses approved by President Buhari in 2021, from which over 6,000 houses have so far been completed.
