Breaking: Confusion as Cross River lawmaker dies at isolation centre

Lawmaker representing Obudu constituency at the Cross River state house of assembly, Godwin Akwaji, is dead.

He died at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) isolation centre around 12:30 pm on Thursday, after showing symptoms of Coronavirus.

Nobody knows if actual he died of covid-19 or another ailment.

But report had it that he had been treated for malaria and pneumonia with no improvement after exhibiting fatigue, fever, cough, breathlessness.

However, some well wishers and friends who came around to see him when he was sick, are now showing symptoms of covid-19.
