Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has responded to accusations made against him in a viral audio released by VeryDarkMan.
The audio claimed that Falana sought a presidential pardon for Bobrisky, for the sum of N10 million.
Also, Femi Falana strongly denied the allegation.
He calls it a malicious, baseless, and reckless attempt to damage his reputation.
“The entire publication was a vicious, wicked and reckless ploy to impugn the reputation of our client.”
Meanwhile. in a letter sent to VeryDarkMan on Wednesday by his legal representative, Taiwo Olawanle, Femi Falana demanded a public retraction and an apology within 24 hours.
Also, he emphasised that he had never spoken to Bobrisky regarding any pardon or any other matter.
The letter described the allegations as a deliberate and harmful attack on Falana’s character, intended to mislead the public.
Also, it further warned that if the retraction and apology were not issued within the given timeframe, legal action would be taken.
“Be advised that if we do not receive your formal retraction and apology as demanded within 24 (twenty-four) hours of the receipt hereof, we shall proceed with our client’s instructions to seek appropriate legal remedies.”

Furthermore, the statement concluded with a clear call on VeryDarkMan to retract the false information from all platforms where it had been shared.
