The Grammy-winning superstar walked the red carpet at Variety’s Hitmakers event, an invite-only celebration of the biggest songs of the year. She revealed that she didn’t intend to make a grand gesture of “coming out”.

In the November issue, Eilish spoke about her feelings for women, telling Variety’s Katcy Stephan: “I’ve never really felt like I could relate to girls very well. I love them so much. I love them as people. I’m attracted to them as people. I’m attracted to them for real”.

At the Hitmakers event, the singer received the prize for Film Song of the Year alongside her brother Finneas for “What Was I Made For,” featured in the summer blockbuster “Barbie.”
