Beyoncé’s album, “Cowboy Carter,” is at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, debuting with 407,000 album units sold in the U.S.
This is Beyoncé’s eighth time reaching No. 1 on this chart.
“Cowboy Carter” had the biggest week of 2024 and the largest since Taylor Swift’s “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” came out with 1.653 million units on November 11, 2023.
This is also Beyoncé’s best week since her album “Lemonade” debuted at No. 1 with 653,000 units on May 14, 2016.
Additionally, “Cowboy Carter” had Beyoncé’s highest streaming numbers ever.
The album also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums, Americana/Folk Albums, and Top Album Sales charts.
Beyoncé is the first black woman to ever top the Top Country Albums chart, which has been around since January 1964.
