The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Beyoncé now holds the most certified titles of any female artiste, with a total of 103 RIAA certifications.
The singer’s latest album earned Platinum certification, while her single “Texas Hold ‘Em” received 2x Platinum status.
The track “16 Carriages” was certified Gold, and her previous album Renaissance earned 2x Platinum recognition.
Beyoncé’s collaborations with Jay-Z, including “Drunk in Love” (2013) and “Crazy in Love” (2003), both achieved 8x Platinum certifications.
RIAA certifications are awarded based on sales, with Gold status for 500,000 units, Platinum for 1 million, and Diamond for 10 million copies sold.
RIAA President and COO, Michele Ballantyne, congratulated Beyoncé for her achievement, stating, “We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work, and creative spirit reflected across diverse genres.”
Beyoncé’s milestone follows Taylor Swift’s announcement on December 16 that her album The Tortured Poets Department achieved 6x Platinum status.
Additionally, Shaboozey received a 5x Platinum certification for his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and Billie Eilish earned the most certifications in 2024, with her album Hit Me Hard and Soft going Platinum and several singles achieving Gold certification.
