Five days after the kidnapping of 20 medical students from the University of Maiduguri and the University of Jos, security forces are still searching the forest to rescue them.
The students were traveling last Thursday, August 15, to the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental Students annual convention in Enugu.
That was when they were abducted.
It was along the Otukpo/Otukpa/Enugu federal highway.
In response, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has sent a tactical team to ensure the students are safely rescued.
