Jude Bellingham faced the wrath of English fans for a “disgusting lazy performance” as the Three Lions were held to a goalless stalemate by Slovenia.
It was another lacklustre performance from the English side, as they were frustrated by a resolute Slovenia defence who put up an incredible resistance to stop Harry Kane and others from finding the net on Tuesday evening.
England were clamouring for creative inspiration and with Bellingham looking out of gas, especially as the match wore on, they lacked the cutting edge in attack.
What The Fans Are Saying
An English fan, @InvertTheWing, slammed Bellingham and wrote: “Get Jude Bellingham off the pitch.
“This is an absolutely, disgusting, lazy performance.
“What a disgrace to the country.
“You are not playing for your club; you are not playing for yourself.
“You are playing for the people of the nation”.
While another, @SxrgioSZN, was a bit more sarcastic and wrote: “No England player shouted VAMOS more times than Bellingham vs Slovenia (8) Generational 👏🏼”.
Meanwhile, @wembley_13, wrote: “🚨BREAKING : UEFA has decided not give MOTM award for England vs Slovenia match because they were all sh*t.”
Whereas, @Cruise_Travel63, vented his frustration and wrote: “Utter s*ite.
“Any other group and we’d be out.
“Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia are worse than us….as are Scotland….now look who’s left that we have to beat.
“Utter s*ite and going home very soon.”
Poor Outing For Bellingham
Despite an unimpressive run in Euro 2024, England have managed to emerge as the group topper.
They head to the knockouts with five points in their kitty after winning against Serbia and drawing the next two matches versus Denmark and Slovenia.
Bellingham had a poor outing against Slovenia as he created zero chances.
He had no shots, and even lost possession the greatest number of times (16) for his team.
It was not just a bad day at the office for Bellingham as he had been consistently poor in the Euros.
He registered just one shot and created only one chance in all three matches.

England must improve significantly if they want to go deep into the tournament.
They could potentially face the Netherlands from Group D who have qualified as one of the best four third-placed teams, given Czechia or Georgia fail to win their respective matches in Group F.
The round of 16 match will take place on June 30 at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen.
