Nigerian songstress Ayra Starr has reached a new milestone, surpassing 2 billion streams on Spotify. According to data from Spotify aggregator Kworb, Ayra achieved this feat as of Thursday, October 10, 2024.
This achievement follows the release of her second album, The Year I Turned 21, which has garnered over 500 million streams on Spotify.
With this milestone, Ayra Starr joins the ranks of Nigerian artistes like Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, Wizkid, CKay, and Davido, who have also surpassed 2 billion Spotify streams across all credits.
The news comes shortly after Ayra Starr received four nominations at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards.
