Nelly and Ashanti have reportedly been married for six months, according to documents obtained on Wednesday, June 19.
The records indicate that Ashanti and Nelly, officially tied the knot on December 27, 2023.
Their marriage was kept private despite their prior announcement of engagement and impending parenthood.
Ashanti disclosed details of the proposal and her wedding plans in a recent interview.
She described the proposal as a “beautiful, intimate moment” that took place at home, humorously mentioning her casual attire one of Nelly’s T-shirts and boxers.
In May, Ashanti celebrated her first Mother’s Day as an expectant mother, sharing joyful moments on Instagram with Nelly and their family, showcasing her pregnancy.
The couple first began dating in the early 2000s but separated in 2013.
They reunited after a decade apart and publicly announced their engagement and pregnancy almost a year later in 2023.
