Leandro Trossard could become the latest big name to head to Saudi Arabia, with Al-Ittihad putting a €35 million (£29m/$39m) offer to Arsenal.
The Gunners have bolstered their options in wide areas – particularly on the left flank – with the capture of England international Raheem Sterling on a season-long loan from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
They also have Brazilian star Gabriel Martinelli to fill a role in that area of the field.
That may lead to Mikel Arteta agreeing to part company with Belgium international Trossard.
The 29-year-old forward has been at Emirates Stadium since completing a £20m ($26m) transfer from Brighton in January 2023 – with 19 goals recorded through 70 appearances in all competitions.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Trossard is now being lined up for a big-money move to the Middle East.
He claims that Al-Ittihad have a formal offer on the table ahead of the summer transfer deadline passing for teams in the Saudi Pro League.
Arsenal are now mulling over whether to cash in or not.

If Trossard were to be offloaded, then he would join a star-studded squad in Jeddah.
Al-Ittihad already have Ballon d’Or-winning former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema on their books, along with ex-Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, one-time Liverpool star Fabinho and Algeria international playmaker Houssem Aouar.
