The Akwa Ibom Government has approved the monthly payment of ₦20,000 for Undergraduates and ₦30,000 for Postgraduates.
The Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Umo Eno, has said undergraduates and postgraduate students in the state would receive ₦20,000 and ₦30,000, monthly, respectively, from the state government.
Umo Eno stated this on Wednesday at the Youths Appreciation Rally to the youths in Uyo Township Stadium.
According to Eno, medical, law, engineering and agriculture undergraduate students would also be paid ₦30,000 monthly.
“For our students, starting this academic session, we have increased the bursary from ₦10,000 to ₦20,000 for all undergraduates.

Furthermore, bursary was increased from ₦10,000 to ₦30,000 for professional students studying medicine, law, engineering, agriculture, and all postgraduate students,’ he said.
