Adamawa, Imo, Plateau states gets new Police Commissioner

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu has approved the appointment and posting of three new Commissioners of Police to States.

The commissioners include Adamawa State, CP Olugbenga Adeyanju, Adamawa state, CP Audu Adamu, Imo state, CP Edward Chuka Egbuka, Plateau state while CP Isaac Akinmoyede is redeployed to Force headquarters.

The IGP charged the newly posted officers to ensure that they effectively consolidate and improve on the performances of their predecessors.

He also called on citizens of the affected States to accord the CPs maximum support and cooperation,

According to a statement by DCP Frank Mba, Force Public Relations Officer, “The postings are with immediate effect.”
