Reports circulating around reveals that Nollywood veteran, Chiwetalu Agu has been allegedly rearrested by men of the Department of State Service (DSS).

This was made known by his colleague who informed the public about the arrest of his colleague on his Facebook page on October 8, 2021.

He wrote:

“Chiwetalu Agu is still not free. He is with DSS now. Colleagues say they are looking for a top lawyer to bail him,”

It would be recalled that the movie star was released by the Nigerian Army on October 8, 2021 after being arrested in Onitsha due to his outfit which has same colour as the Biafra flag.

The army later released a statement where it revealed that the actor was arrested for inciting members of the public and soliciting for support for the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
