We have no money but we’ll defeat Sanwo-Olu with our strategies, an opposition, the Action Alliance (AA), says.
The Lagos State branch of the Action Alliance (AA) apparently has a strategy with which they will defeat Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the party, the “noise and dances” of the APC in Lagos will not translate to massive votes in the elections.
The party says it has implemented strategies ahead of the March 11 governorship election that will guarantee victory.
‘Very sweet Strategies’
“We have plans to defeat Sanwo-Olu,” the chairman of the party in Lagos State, Nureni Ayinla-Oniru, said.
Mr Ayinla-Oniru says “to some people, it is difficult, but it is not impossible.”
He reiterated that the party does not have money but has a game plan that would work.
“We have our own strategies and we are working on them and they are very sweet and they will give us what we want.
“We don’t have money, but we have our game plan,” he said.
The party chairman boasted that no matter how hard the ruling party tries, the masses would defeat Sanwo-Olu at the polls.
AA Not Interested In Presidency
The party chairman says the party is not concentrating on the presidential election of February 25.
Rather, Action Alliance is focusing on the governorship and House of Assembly elections of March 11.
He expresses confidence in the party in winning the elections it is focusing on.
AA has adopted a campaign strategy that is different from the usual and it is focusing on the grassroots, Mr Ayinla-Nureni said.
“We are touched by the suffering of the poor masses and want to lead a government that will make the poor live a comfortable life.
“To us, the lives of the masses are very important.

“The masses are entitled to their rights and what belongs to them in terms of welfare, hence the reason AA is on the ballot.
“The party is not for the rich; it is for the poor to unite and rescue themselves from hardship.
“We have taken our governorship candidate from the masses,” he said.
