The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)is set to take formal action against FCT Minister, Wike over some allegations.
The party initiated proceedings against Nyesom Wike, over allegations of anti-party activities.
Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, made this announcement during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Monday.
PDP Vs Wike
He revealed that Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State, has been officially summoned to appear before the party’s disciplinary committee, chaired by Chief Tom Ikimi, a respected party leader.
The PDP National Working Committee established this committee to investigate and address party discipline issues.
Abdullahi noted that Wike is among those summoned to face the committee, which will look into claims of anti-party activities.
Abdullahi explained that multiple petitions alleging sabotage against the party during the primary process have been compiled and sent to the committee.

Party Members Reactions
Some party members believe that Wike has received too much leniency from party leadership.
Abdullahi also condemned Wike’s recent comments about creating turmoil in the states of PDP governors who support Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
He described Wike’s remarks as “very disappointing and not in line with our expectations.”
Wike had previously expressed satisfaction with his role in Bola Tinubu administration despite facing criticism.
He also warned PDP governors supporting Fubara amid ongoing tensions with the Rivers State governor.
It was reported that during the PDP Congress in Port Harcourt, Wike threatened political unrest in the states of any PDP governor who interferes with party matters in the South-South region.
He also warned that those unhappy with his position in Tinubu’s government could “hug the transformer” and threatened to create problems in any governor’s state who meddles in Rivers State affairs.
