Telecom Group Set To Establish Sustainability In Tech Sector

The Telecommunications and Technology Sustainability Working Group (TTSWG) has met to discuss its activities in the sector. 

The board meeting will review the Secretariat’s activities over the last quarter and plan the next steps to ensure that the working group stays on track to achieve its goals and objectives.

They are making plans to foster greater collaboration in Nigeria’s technology sector in order to ensure its long-term viability.

The board meeting will review the Secretariat’s activities over the last quarter and plan the next steps to ensure that the working group stays on track to achieve its goals and objectives.

Also, the committee is a multi-stakeholder network of corporate organisations dedicated to promoting long-term sustainability in Nigeria’s ICT sector.

All activity review was held as part of the company’s quarterly board meeting in Lagos, Nigeria.

The meeting is the TTSWG’s first physical board meeting, as it strives to be the go-to hub for tech sustainability leadership.

The Chief Technical Officer at Intercellular Nigeria Plc, Mohammed Abdu-Waya, presided over the meeting.

Other board members present were vice-chair of the board, Dr. Wunmi Hassan, president of the High-Tech Centre for Nigerian Women and Youth, Dr. Chris Uwaje, and others.

Mrs. Iklimatu Ramallan, Professor Francis Idachaba, and key TTSWG Secretariat operatives – ‘Bekeme Olowola (Lead Consultant TTSWG).

The TTSWG Secretariat at CSR-in-Action is managed by Chioma Ahumareze, Isaac Emmanuel, and Pamela Babafemi.

A representative from a TTSWG member organisation and a member of the Innovator Makers’ Challenge Planning Committee were also present.

Suleman Ibrahim, Manager of Sustainability and ESG at IHS Nigeria, was also present as an observer at the board meeting.
