After a painful loss in 2022, Anthony Joshua is back to winning ways.
On Saturday night, April 1, 2023, Anthony Joshua defeated Jermaine Franklin by unanimous decision at the O2 Arena in London.
The two-time champion won the match with the judges scorecards reading 118–111, 117–111, 117–111.
After the bout, Joshua stated that “it was important to win”.
This was Joshua’s first win after successive defeats by Oleksandr Usyk saw the former Olympic champion lose and then fail to regain his global titles.
