Portable is a fast-rising musician and internet sensation.

His real name is Habeeb Okikiola and now he is in the radar of the police.

After the incident the other day at his bar, the time of reckoning has come.

The police insisted that he would face the consequences of his actions and they are determined to keep to their words.

Indeed, he will face not less than six charges in court over his inciting comments against the police and his unruly behaviour.

The Police Force’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, made this known via a series of tweets on Saturday, April 1.

How It Began

Portable’s ordeal with the police started earlier this week.

The controversial artist made an Instagram Live video claiming that police attacked his bar in Sango Ota at the request of an online scammer.

The musician was invited to the headquarters of the Ogun State Police Command after the video, which has since gone viral and generated some internet controversy.

Portable, however, chose not to appear.

The Arrest

The musician was apprehended by the police on Friday.

Portable is anticipated to spend the weekend in custody amidst contradictory reports that he wasn’t arrested but went to the police as requested.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, the police PRO explained why it took so long for the force to intervene in the case of MC Oluomo, who had intimidated some voters during the 2023 elections but had arrested Portable so swiftly.
