#NigeriaElections2023 Nigerians Vote In Presidential, NASS Elections

It is #NigeriaElections2023 and most Nigerians are voting in the presidential and National Assembly elections holding on February 25, 2023.

in different states of the nation, people are exercising their fundamental rights to vote.

It is another opportunity for the most populous black nation to pick their desired political leaders.

Voting started at different times in different polling units, with the arrival time of the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission largely determining the time voting would begin.

While voting started early at about 9:00AM at some poling units, some others started late.

INEC is using the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BIVAS) for accreditation of voters.

In most polling units voting and accreditation happen simultaneously.

So far, most voters describe the election as peaceful.

A voter in Bariga area of Lagos State hailed the Central Bank of Nigeria for initiating the Naira policy at this time. He says it has crippled vote buying during election.

Also, people have hailed the INEC for using the BIVAS and they expressed hopes that it would present Nigerians a credible election.

While voting is ongoing, acts of kindness are also following.

In Ibafo market square area in Lagos State, While voters waited for INEC officials to come, a voter got water for others waiting to vote.

In Ipakodo Ward, Ikorodu, Nigerians allowed those with disability and elderly to vote first before others.

This is a replicated gesture in most polling unites that iBrandTv visited.

Turnout for the #NigeriaElections2023 is huge in most polling units and people have said the election might end up being the most credible election that Nigeria has had.
