Does the All Progressives Congress (APC) still believe that the scarcity of Naira notes has something to do with its presidential candidate?
Well, no one really knows what to believe, but the APC still believes that ‘people will still vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu whether they hide the money or not’.
This is the position of the spokesman for the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Festus Keyamo.
The APC is yet to react to President Muhammadu Buhari’s message insisting on the February 10 deadline for old 500 and 1,000 Naira.
In a Nationwide broadcast, the president said the naira redesign had curbed insecurity and is geared towards laying a better foundation for Nigeria.
President Buhari insists that there is no going back on the deadline
However, Mr Keyamo, who had stated on several occasions that the new policy was targeted at Tinubu to rile the voters against the ruling party, said that “People have said whether they hide the money or not they’ll vote for Tinubu.
“Just like those who taught BVAS was designed for others, became the 1st victims of BVAS.
“So, those who think the people will turn against BAT because of this policy will be sorely disappointed,” he stated.
APC Accuses APC Of Working Against Tinubu
The APC PPC, notable party members and the party’s presidential candidate have on several occasions accused certain forces of using the naira scarcity against the party.
They also said the fuel scarcity was put in place to destroy Tinubu’s chances of getting elected.

Although, certain party members have said the statement was not directed at President Buhari.
They have, however, fingered party members who do not support Tinubu but rather have an ‘anointed’ they want.
Despite all these, Tinubu had said that even if there is no money or fuel, he is sure that Nigerians would come out in large numbers to vote for him in the forthcoming election.
