WhatsApp users globally seem to be having problems sending messages on the app, as the messaging service WhatsApp is currently down.
A website tracking social activity online reported an outage spike in Dubai around 11 am.

Users trying to communicate with each other have discovered neither their messages nor pictures and videos are sending to their desired recipients.
Web WhatsApp is down as well. Users are unable to connect their phones and send messages.
Users have however taken to Twitter to share their frustration whilst finding relief that others are experiencing the same problem.
Meanwhile early this morning Meta owners of Whatsapp released an official statement
“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we’re working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible,”
