The United State Government is planning to return $23 million back to Nigeria as part of the various funds taken out of the country and stored in different foreign banks by the late Gen. Sani Abacha.

Late Gen. Sani Abacha looted funds from the treasury of Nigeria to hide these funds in other countries.
The American government has however concluded plans to repatriate part of the looted funds by the Late Abacha’s administration.
Recall that Swiss Government had in 2018 returned $322.8 million back to Nigeria out of Abacha’s loot
