Following the emergence of a new presidential aspirant in Labour Party, LP after the emergence of Peter Obi as the presidential candidate of the party has sparked reactions from the general public.
Veteran singer, Daddy Showkey has also joined the public in slamming the development as he called out the Igbos causing confusion in the party.

It would be recalled that Ambassador Jude Ezenwafor was declared as the presidential flagbearer of Labour party at its National Convention led by a faction of the party.
Reacting to the development, Showkey asked why Igbo men take delight in fighting other Igbo men, when something good wants to happen in their midst.
He said:
“When we talk, people will feel like we don’t know what we are saying. I always say that Igbos Igbos…I want you people to be united this time. Look why is that anytime you have somebody credible, anything involving you people, they will use you people against yourselves,
“This one don come now, them don go use an Igbo man to fight an Igbo man. Oh, una get very long way to go. If this man that correct Igbo man, he go forget about this thing. For once you people should use your head.”
