Just In: Nigeria’s cases of Coronavirus nears 100, now 81

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus, code-named COVID-19 in Nigeria, there seems to be fresh concerns for Nigerians, as the cases of patients positive for the pandemic virus approaches 100, now at 81.

According to The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, “11 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: eight in Lagos, two in Enugu and one in Edo State.

“As at 11:55pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with 1 death.”

The NCDC noted that, for a breakdown of cases by states; Lagos – 52, FCT – 14, Ogun – 3, Ekiti – 1, Oyo – 3, Edo – 2, Bauchi – 2, Osun -1, Enugu -2 and Rivers -1.
